Concept
An LLM is the first node in the book’s information pipeline that owns gate + option-space + content-generator + training-corpus + training-objective + deployment-configuration + pricing-tier, all collapsed into one design moment owned by one party. Where a Ch 10 social-media platform owns two or three selection-design surfaces, an LLM owner owns five-to-seven. The structural concentration is what makes the LLM the limit case for the book’s political-economy argument: every concern about ownership of selection design applies with sharper force.
